Several Residents have announced plans to run for City Council in Rolla. The Candidates are:
Dr. Moriah Renaud has been a resident of Rolla for over 7 years. She is a naturopathic doctor and co-host of the local radio show “A Healthy Concept”. Moriah loves education, freedom, and Christian values. She boldly stands for the people of Rolla and seeks to promote growth, thriving businesses, improved health, and a reduction of crime in our community.

Megan Johnson was born at Fort Leonard Wood and raised here in Rolla. She was deeply influenced by her grandmother and great-grandmother who imparted much wisdom. Megan regards Rolla as her home and holds this community close to her heart. Currently she is a stay at home mother with four beautiful children which Megan says is “the best job I could ever ask for”, and, “gives me the insight into what will benefit family life in our community.” Megan desires to ensure Rolla’s elected officials represent moral integrity and family values. She sees the need to make sure our children have a safe environment to live in, and believes that crime and drugs in our community has to start being a focus. Megan also has a background in finance, which she feels is beneficial to maximizing budgeting opportunities for our community. She shared that one of her main reasons for staying so involved in the community is to show to her children the importance of loving your community.

Matt Fridley has lived in Rolla (in Ward 3), with his wife Julie for over 17 years. They raised their two grown children in their house, built in 1929, and are now celebrating the joy of being grandparents. Matt is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, an educator with over 20 years of experience as a first grade teacher, a middle school principal and an elementary school principal. He has been married for 31 years and believes his values are representative of ward 3. Matt believes families should live in a community where citizens care for one another, police officers are supported, local businesses thrive, and where individuals can walk in their parks and neighborhoods without worrying about their safety. He believes we all have an obligation to step up and protect our community in an effort to keep Rolla safe, and we all have a stake in the future of Rolla!
Dr. Rob Kessinger is a fourth generation Chiropractor with a natural healthcare clinic in Rolla; Kessinger Health & Wellness Centre. He is the immediate past President of the Missouri Chiropractic Physicians Association representing 2500 Chiropractors in the State. Dr. Kessinger is running for City Coucil to preserve, protect and advance freedom and liberty.

Victoria Culver is running for Rolla City CounciI because she wants to invest in her Community. She is getting married in April 2021 and plans to raise a family in Rolla, MO.
